We accomplished this by dissolving our antecedent which was Acetanilide in a solvent. later on the mixture was boiled, we and then added decolorizing charcoal to help remove the dark impurities. After weighing the crystals I unyielding we were able to repossess 4.8 grams of the original 6 grams of Acetanilide for a recovery rate of 80%.
